Scheduling a maternity shoot between 28-36 weeks of pregnancy is ideal, allowing the baby bump to be beautifully prominent while ensuring the expectant mother's comfort. Some women may feel more comfortable having their photos taken earlier or later, depending on their unique pregnancy experiences. Personally, we only took our maternity photos at week 36 as my bump was more obvious then!

Outfit

Choosing the right outfits can enhance the beauty of your maternity photos. Opt for clothing that is flattering and comfortable. Flowy or form-fitting dresses and casual attire can all work beautifully. Fabrics like lace, chiffon, and silk photograph well and add a touch of elegance.

Coordinate outfits with your partner or family without being too matchy-matchy. Complementary colours create a cohesive look. You may consider bringing a few different outfits to have different looks during the shoot. Do take note that outfit change timing is inclusive of your session’s time.
