  1. Mini Sessions: Ideal for All-Adult and Grown-Up Children

If you have a small group consisting of grown-up children above the age of 9 or an all-adult family, a mini session could be the perfect choice. These sessions are designed to be efficient and concise, capturing beautiful moments within a shorter timeframe. Mini sessions are also recommended for new parents with infants or newborns below the age of 1 year. As little ones at this age require frequent breaks and naps, a shorter session ensures that their needs are met while still capturing those precious early moments.

  2. Classic Sessions: Perfect for Parents with Multiple Children

For parents with two or more children, especially from the age of 2 onwards or when the child can walk, a classic session is highly recommended. This session provides more flexibility and time, allowing for a relaxed and enjoyable experience. Children in this age range often require a bit more time to warm up to the environment and the photographer, and a classic session provides the opportunity for them to feel comfortable, resulting in more natural and genuine photographs. If you are thinking of including grandparents in the photoshoot, the classic session is the way to go, ensuring sufficient time to capture beautiful multigenerational moments.

If you are considering a cake smash session, where your little one indulges in a delightful mess of cake, choosing a classic session is highly recommended. Cake smash sessions require additional time and preparation to capture the joy and excitement of your child's first birthday milestone. With a classic session, you can ensure that there is enough time for the cake smashing fun and the subsequent cleanup, resulting in stunning and memorable images to cherish for a lifetime.

  3. Deluxe Sessions: Perfect for Large Families and Extended Relatives

If your family consists of three or more nuclear families or includes extended relatives, a deluxe session is the ideal choice. These sessions provide ample time to accommodate larger family permutations, capturing beautiful moments of the entire extended family. With a deluxe session, you can ensure that everyone gets their fair share of attention and that no one feels rushed. This comprehensive package allows for a relaxed atmosphere, resulting in stunning images that showcase the love and connection within your large family.

Choosing the right photoshoot package is crucial for capturing cherished memories of your family. By considering the composition of your family, the age range of your children, and any special requests such as cake smash sessions or including extended family members, you can select the perfect package that suits your unique needs. Whether it's a mini session for small groups, a classic session for parents with multiple children, or a deluxe session for large families, each package offers a tailored experience to create beautiful and timeless photographs. So, go ahead and choose the package that resonates with your family's dynamics, and get ready to capture moments that will be cherished for a lifetime.

For families whose children may need a bit more time to feel comfortable and warm up to the environment, we highly recommend arriving at the studio or location 5 to 10 minutes early. This extra time allows the child to acclimate to the surroundings and build familiarity, ensuring a smoother and more enjoyable photoshoot experience for everyone involved.

Children, especially between the ages of 2 and 6, may require additional time to adjust to new environments and people. Some children may feel shy or hesitant initially, while others may be full of energy and excitement, wanting to explore their surroundings. By arriving a few minutes early, you can give your child the opportunity to settle in, interact with the photographer, and gradually ease into the session.

Not only does arriving early allow for a more relaxed start to the photoshoot, but it also ensures that the session can begin on time as scheduled. This is especially important if you have booked a specific time slot and want to make the most of your allocated session time.

To make the most of your early arrival, we suggest bringing along your child's favourite toys, books, or snacks that can help them feel more at ease and engaged. This will also give the photographer a chance to interact and establish rapport with your child, creating a comfortable and positive atmosphere. Remember, our goal is to capture genuine moments that reflect your family's unique personality and dynamics. By allowing your child the time they need to warm up, we can ensure that their true selves shine through in the photographs, resulting in beautiful and authentic memories that you will cherish for years to come.

So, mark your calendars and set a reminder to arrive a few minutes early for your photoshoot session. By doing so, you'll create the best possible environment for your child to feel comfortable and ready to create magical memories together.
