Rescheduling Policy

We understand that there may be unexpected situation prior to your session. We wish to offer a good degree of flexibility, especially when it comes to family members falling sick, as we understand that nobody wants something like that to happen before a photoshoot. However, we also seek your understanding that for every slot that is forfeited, poses significant cost to the studio. As such, we can’t always allow multiple reschedules.

No Reason Reschedule

A no-reason rescheduling can only be done 1 week before your shoot, up to a maximum of 2 times. Thereafter, if you wish to reschedule a 3rd time, $100 will be deducted from the original deposit as a penalty. There can be no more than 3 no-reason reschedule. If you cannot make it for the 3rd rescheduled date, the deposit will be fully forfeited.

No Reason Rescheduling Procedure

You can easily reschedule via the confirmation email sent to you when you make a booking. There is a reschedule button for you to reschedule your session easily. Do note that if you made a weekday booking, you can only reschedule to a weekday. This applies to weekend bookings as well. Last Minute Reschedule

If the need for a last minute rescheduling is due to a family member falling sick, we will need a medical certificate (MC) from the doctor to proceed. Personal/private matters are not a valid excuse. Kindly email us the MC asap to: hello@studiokinu.co

MC will be strictly required as proof, for any illness including but not limited to CoVid-19, normal cough, flu, or fever symptoms. Neither a photograph of a thermometer, nor a positive covid swab test will be accepted.

For mini and classic sessions, kindly note that last minute rescheduling can only be done once regardless of future reasons, and you will need to utilize the $200 deposit within a 6 month time frame. If there is a second time of emergency, you may consider to proceed with the shoot with a downsized package on the same shoot date and time, or find another party to take over your shoot date and time. If both options are not possible, the deposit will be fully forfeited for mini and classic package clients. For deluxe family clients, a second reschedule due to medical reason is possible with a $100 deduction from the deposit. A MC will be strictly required.

Last Minute Rescheduling Procedure

When requesting for the last minute rescheduling, you can let us know if you have a new date and time in mind for the shoot. Otherwise we will send you a voucher code, with an equivalent value as your remaining deposit amount. You can book our sessions at your convenience via our website. This voucher code is transferable to friends as a gift voucher, or you may use to purchase any package you prefer (e.g. if you originally booked a deluxe package for a big family shoot, you can use this voucher to book a smaller package for a smaller family shoot if you wish). It will be the client’s full responsibility to book a session in time via our website before the voucher’s expiry.

If the deposit is not utilised by the end of the 6 months, the deposit will be forfeited, regardless of any reasons.
